Our client, a logistics and distribution organization in North Sacramento is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Distribution Center and Reverse Logistics support team, helping keep daily operations moving safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to meet production expectations while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay Range: $19.00/hr

Shifts:
#1 - 
Sunday - Thursday 5am - 1:30pm
#2 - Tuesday - Saturday 5am-1:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Move pallets and materials through the Distribution Center and Reverse Logistics Center to support production needs
  • Load and unload customer trailers while following safety procedures at all times
  • Operate a forklift with extreme care, making movement decisions that maximize efficiency
  • Position forks and lifting equipment under, over, or around loaded pallets and transport loads to designated areas
  • Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices; in some locations, power-sort pallets by hand as part of daily responsibilities

What's Needed?

  • Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail, plus basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow instructions for keeping records and maintaining accurate work
  • Forklift certificate of training not required, but preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong awareness to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts when required; candidates must pass a background check and drug screen
