General Operator

Our client, in the agriculture industry, is seeking a General Operator to join their team. As a General Operator, you will be part of the seed production and processing department supporting seasonal responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have adaptability, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading.
• Complete a wide range of harvest activities, including combine cleaning.
• Supply the Conditioning department with a constant supply of seed.
• Apply appropriate treatment to seed.
• Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed, and enter inventory information into the computer.

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of production agriculture and plant operations.
• Ability to perform duties safely and efficiently while maintaining seed quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing seasonal tasks and conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds and work outdoors on uneven surfaces.
