General Production Associate - Entry Level

Our client, in the paper manufacturing industry, is seeking a General Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Tubing department supporting its creation, palletizing, and shipment . The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist machine operation, follow applicable safety guidelines, inspect product for quality, and the ability to unload/load finished product for shipment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  General Production Associate 

Location:  Austell, GA.

Payrate:  $16.50

Shift:  1st shift (5am to 3pm, Mon thru Fri) & 2nd shift (330pm to 12pm, Mon thru Fri)
 

What’s the Job?

1. An all-encompassing position operating assigned machinery and/or equipment operation and/or the physical loading/unloading of materials in a safe and productive manner in accordance with Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions.
 
2. Operate equipment associated with producing units and/or operate material handling equipment as assigned.
 
3. Follows all applicable safety policies and practices, including but not limited to, use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, and promoting good safety practices
 
4. May load and unload raw good and/or finished products.
 
5. Visual inspection of product to ensure quality.
 
6. Responsible for housekeeping and general maintenance functions within work area.
 
7. Adhere to work locations rules and procedures
 
8. Perform operations assignment as directed by the supervisor.
