Heavy Lift Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics provider, is seeking a Heavy Lift Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Heavy Lift Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting shipping, receiving, freight handling, and inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Canton, MI
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour
What’s the Job?

• Load and unload trailers while safely handling freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including checking in merchandise and processing orders.
• Read work orders, customer orders, and shipping documents to accurately move and distribute materials.
• Monitor freight pickups and deliveries while ensuring shipments arrive on time and in good condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while supporting inventory counts and product assembly as needed.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Previous warehouse, dock, shipping/receiving, or freight handling experience preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and communication skills, including the ability to use handheld scanners.
• Availability to work varying 1st shift schedules based on business and freight volume needs.
