Our client, a leader in manufacturing and packaging solutions, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler - Menomonie 1st shift to join their dynamic team. As a Material Handler - Menomonie 1st shift, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting production and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler - Menomonie 1st shift
Location: Menomonie, WI
Pay Rate: $20.50
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Coordinate with production to determine appropriate tractor/trailer combinations and load placement
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation, verifying quantities, condition, and pricing of materials
- Ensure outgoing shipments are properly packaged and documented
- Safely move materials from various storage locations, including offsite warehouses and vendor sites
- Follow distribution and tagging procedures, schedule irregular deliveries, and perform daily safety checks on equipment
What's Needed?
- Previous manufacturing or warehousing experience (3-5 years preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous forklift operation experience and certification (training provided)
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management, and manufacturing processes
