Material Handler

Our client, is seeking Material Handlers to assist on a 3 week project. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations supporting library relocation and book collection management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Atchison, KS

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday work based on project needs  8am - 4:30pm 

What's the Job?

• Assist in packing book collections into boxes weighing 60-70 lbs
• Push and maneuver book carts to facilitate library relocation
• Stack books into boxes efficiently and safely
• Support team members in moving and organizing library materials
• Contribute to a smooth and timely project completion over approximately 3 weeks

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift heavy boxes (60-70 lbs) frequently
• Strong physical stamina and endurance
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work additional days if required
