Packager

Our client, Logistics & Warehouse Operations is seeking a Picker/Packer to join their team. As a Picker/Packer, you will be part of the Warehouse team supporting day-to-day order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, comfort using handheld scanners and computer workstations, and the ability to stay focused while priorities and workflows change.

Job Title: Picker/Packer

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials, equipment, and products within the assigned area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, then place orders on pallets or shelves or move them to the packing station or shipping department.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (such as size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Support a safe and healthy workplace by following safe work procedures, complying with instructions for your own safety and that of others, and assisting management with legislative obligations.

What's Needed?

• Capable of basic data entry and familiarity with handheld computer devices.
• Ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and workflows.
• Commitment to comply with warehouse work policies and procedures.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
