Reach Truck Operator / Warehouse Associate

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Two paid 15-minute breaks
• Occasional overtime available, but not frequent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity in a dry warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and be comfortable spending the majority of their day operating a reach truck.

Approximately 85% of the role involves operating a reach truck, with additional responsibilities related to receiving, picking, loading, unloading, and inventory movement.

Important: Candidates must have prior reach truck experience and be able to operate equipment independently from day one. Training will not be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
• Compare received goods against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving schedules
• Report any damaged or missing items
• Sort, label, organize, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations
• Verify product quality, packaging, and compliance standards
• Perform inventory replenishment from reserve storage to pick locations

Warehouse Operations

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders
• Load merchandise onto outbound trucks
• Repack loose merchandise for shipment when necessary
• Identify and report inventory, slotting, or storage issues
• Shrink-wrap pallets and completed orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate a reach truck throughout the workday
• Conduct daily equipment inspections
• Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with company safety standards

Qualifications

Required

• Previous reach truck operating experience
• Warehouse experience
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and efficiently

Preferred

• Receiving experience
• Order picking experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Inventory control or replenishment experience
