Sitdown Forklift Associate

Our client, Logistics and Warehousing is seeking a Sitdown Forklift Associate to join their team. As a Sitdown Forklift Associate, you will be part of the Logistics team supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to solve problems quickly while staying focused on safety.

Job Title: Sitdown Forklift Associate

Location: Fontana, CA

Pay Range: $21.00 to 23.00 per hour 

Multiple Shifts Available: 

• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Mon-Fri, Off Sat-Sun
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Sun-Thu, Off Fri-Sat
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Tue-Sat, Off Sun-Mon
• 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM Mon-Fri, Off Sat-Sun
• 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM Sun-Thu, Off Fri-Sat
• 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM Tue-Sat, Off Sun-Mon

What's the Job?

• Operate a sit-down forklift to support warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities including manual unloading and trailer loading
• Support value-added services such as kitting, labeling, and production assembly
• Perform shipping-related tasks including box building, void fill, packing, and LTL sorting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area through housekeeping duties such as detrashing pallets and trash removal

What's Needed?

• Verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and meet performance standards
• Ability to take direction and work in accordance with safety procedures in a busy, sometimes noisy warehousing environment
• Team player attitude with strong attention to detail
• Physical ability to perform warehouse work, including reaching, bending, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
• Experience in a manufacturing, transportation, or warehousing setting is desired but not required
