Vac Packer

Our client, Seafood Production is seeking a Vac Packer to join their team. As a Vac Packer, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Seafood Packaging Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a safety-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vac Packer

Location: Fall River, MA

Pay Range:

Shift: 5:30am to 3pm

What's the Job?

Prepare fresh and/or frozen seafood products for vacuum packaging
Place seafood into appropriate vacuum-seal bags or packaging
Operate vacuum packing and sealing equipment safely
Inspect packages to ensure they are properly sealed with no leaks or damage
Weigh, label, date, and organize packaged products as required

What's Needed?

Previous seafood processing, food production, packing, or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
Ability to lift, bend, reach, and move products throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and willingness to follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
