Our client, an industry leader in document management and logistics, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Storage and Logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay Range: $16.81 per hour
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
- Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials
- Manually lift, carry, and load boxes ranging from 10 to over 100 lbs
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all physical tasks
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments using proprietary systems
What's Needed?
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good reading and writing skills in English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards is required
