Job Title: Reach Truck Operator / Warehouse Associate
Shift: 1st Shift (Day Shift)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $20

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is primarily focused on operating a reach truck, with approximately 85% of the work involving reach truck operation. The remaining duties include receiving, picking, loading, unloading, and general warehouse support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with warehouse experience who can work independently, maintain accuracy, and contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory

• Receive and unload inbound deliveries.
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Verify received products against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving schedules.
• Report damaged or missing items to the appropriate department.
• Sort, label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Verify product quality, packaging, and vendor compliance standards.

Warehouse Operations

• Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Perform replenishment activities, moving inventory from reserve locations to pick slots.
• Accurately pick merchandise and verify quantities and units of measure.
• Load merchandise onto outbound trucks.
• Repack products as needed for shipment.
• Shrink-wrap pallets and merchandise after picking.
• Identify and report inventory slotting or put-away issues.
• Assist with inventory control and other warehouse functions.

Equipment & Safety

• Conduct daily inspections of warehouse equipment, including:
  • Reach Trucks
  • Forklifts
  • Clamp Equipment
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and operational standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck is required.
• Ability to operate a reach truck immediately with minimal supervision.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Experience with picking and warehouse inventory movement.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Receiving experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management practices.

Experience

• 0-3 years of warehouse, distribution center, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• Familiarity with standard warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work under general supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

Work Environment

• Dry warehouse environment.
• Full-time, first-shift position.
• Fast-paced warehouse setting requiring frequent equipment operation and movement throughout the facility.
