Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in electrical and mechanical products, is seeking a dedicated Switchgear Assembler to join their dynamic team. As a Switchgear Assembler, you will be an integral part of the assembly department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Switchgear Assembler

Location: Kearny, NJ

Pay Range: $20-$24/ hourly

Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

What's the Job?

Assemble products to completion following electrical drawings and schematics
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings
Work independently and adhere to a production schedule
Participate in shop cleanup activities to maintain a safe and organized workspace
Communicate effectively with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules

What's Needed?

Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical assembly prints
Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts
Familiarity with electrical wiring and assembly processes
Ability to lead and direct others on assembly tasks
Advance knowledge of hand tools and their proper use
