Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Early Stage Collector I to join their team. As an Early Stage Collector I, you will be part of the Collections Department supporting the Loan Servicing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Early Stage Collector I

Location: Boise, ID

Pay Range: $18 an hour

What's the Job?

  • Initiate outbound and receive inbound calls from borrowers regarding overdue payments
  • Negotiate payment arrangements to help borrowers avoid mortgage delinquency
  • Follow up with borrowers on returned payments and maintain high-quality customer interactions
  • Review accounts for home retention programs based on loan types
  • Educate borrowers on delinquency timelines and collection efforts to promote positive outcomes

What's Needed?

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities
  • Initiative and a sense of urgency in managing tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • One to Three years’ experience in loan servicing or collections, or related fields
