This role is a blend of operational support and administrative responsibilities. Candidates must have prior experience working in a manufacturing office environment, as understanding the pace, terminology, and operational requirements of manufacturing is essential for success.

Position Summary
Initially, this role will focus heavily on answering phones, managing customer inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Over time, the position will expand into a broader Operations Administrator role supporting multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administrative Support
- Manage daily office operations, correspondence, filing, and administrative support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and customer inquiries
- Support internal teams and external customers with professionalism and urgency
- Prepare customer statements and customer-facing documentation
- Draft and distribute emails, memos, reports, and communications
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, UPS, and FedEx shipments
- Print production orders, pallet labels, and door labels
- Log fire tags and maintain required documentation
- Coordinate customer sample shipments
- Process proof of delivery (POD) paperwork and maintain records
Operational Improvement & Team Support
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational workflows
- Assist leadership with developing and implementing SOPs
- Support cross-functional communication and operational efficiency initiatives
Work Environment
This position follows a business casual dress code within a professional office setting. Employees must maintain a neat, clean appearance and adhere to safety requirements when entering production areas, including wearing required protective equipment when necessary.
Growth Opportunity
This position is designed to evolve from a customer-service-focused role into a more comprehensive Operations Administrator position with increasing responsibility and exposure to various business functions.
