Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting production scheduling and capacity management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Planner
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Range: $35.00 to $39.00 DOE

What's the Job?
- Support creation of daily production plans and assign work based on machine availability and training
- Allocate work against machine capacity across various manufacturing modalities including CNC machining, 3D printing, welding, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly
- Assist in projecting production for 1-2 weeks ahead and plan for equipment outages and customer due dates
- Communicate delivery timelines and expectations to relevant teams
- Identify and escalate scheduling conflicts and capacity issues to management
What's Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, or operations support
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows from order intake through shipping
- Basic familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, or similar planning tools
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word, and other productivity software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with good verbal and written communication abilities
