Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous mobility sector, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting the HR and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $76/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Perform end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, timecard validation, and check distribution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll questions and concerns
  • Assist in maintaining accurate employee and payment records, including timekeeping documentation
  • Collaborate with People, Benefits, Finance, and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Handle year-end payroll reconciliations and respond to government inquiries such as wage verification and garnishment orders

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 to 10 years of payroll processing experience or H.S. Diploma/GED with 12 to 14 years of experience
  • Knowledge of payroll administration and compliance regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence in managing payroll data
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data security practices
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Word, with experience using VLOOKUP and pivot tables preferred
