QA/QC Manager - Data Center Construction

Our client, a leading technology company supporting hyperscale data center construction projects, is seeking a QA/QC Manager to join their team. As a QA/QC Manager, you will be part of the Construction Quality team supporting Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Contractors, Commissioning Managers, Design teams, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: QA/QC Manager - Data Center Construction
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $58.62 - $63.15/hour

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute project quality plans while driving implementation of quality processes, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Perform field inspections and site walks to verify installations comply with drawings, specifications, approved submittals, manufacturer requirements, and quality standards.
• Track and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch list items, quality metrics, dashboards, and issue resolution activities.
• Support commissioning, turnover readiness, operational acceptance, and closeout activities through documentation reviews and quality oversight.
• Lead coordination with contractors, project teams, commissioning teams, designers, vendors, and operations personnel to identify and resolve quality risks.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of construction quality, QA/QC, commissioning, field engineering, or related construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or data center construction projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing QA/QC programs, inspections, audits, documentation compliance, and contractor quality performance.
• 7+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including installation, testing, and quality verification of MEP, controls, and telecommunications systems.
• Experience with commissioning, turnover readiness, closeout documentation, test reports, operational acceptance processes, and quality documentation management.
