Aerospace Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading aerospace technology company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Propulsion Control Systems organization supporting cross-functional engineering teams within the Engines & Power Systems business. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Aerospace Systems Engineer
Location: Tucson, AZ
Pay Range: $51.00/hour

What's the Job?

• Investigate and resolve production support cases for aerospace control systems and electronic control units (ECUs).
• Develop and release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to support design improvements and manufacturing needs.
• Perform technical evaluations and substantiation of design changes related to production and factory support.
• Support the integration of components into larger aerospace systems and ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and engineering teams to support program execution, issue resolution, and product support activities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and the systems development lifecycle.
• Understanding of aerospace electronics, control systems, sensors, actuators, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, or electromechanical products.
• Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
