Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Manager to join their team. As a Sanitation Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the sanitation and safety of the production environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, responsibility, dependability, and organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$100,000 - $120,000
What's the Job?
- Develop and implement sanitation protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Oversee daily sanitation activities, including cleaning, disinfecting, waste management, and pest control, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess sanitation conditions, identify potential issues, and address them promptly.
- Maintain inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and chemicals, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement.
- Train and supervise sanitation staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure optimal performance and adherence to sanitation protocols.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 5 years sanitation supervisory experience within the food industry, with familiarity with USDA and OSHA regulations.
- College Degree in Meat/Agriculture Science or equivalent experience in the food/meat/sanitation industry preferred.
- Experience with Meat Manufacturing Sanitation Processes, CIP Systems, Chemicals, Industrial Equipment Cleaning, and Sanitizing preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities, responsibility, dependability, and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay updated with sanitation regulations and implement necessary compliance measures.
