Technical Training Onboarding Specialist

Our client, a leading Autonomous Vehicle technology company, is seeking a Technical Onboarding Specialist to join their team. As a Technical Training Onboarding Specialist, you will be part of the BaseOps Technical Training Department supporting the BaseOps and Mission Readiness teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and excellent organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Training Onboarding Specialist
 Location: San Francisco, CA
 Pay Range: $38.33/hour

What’s the Job?

• Facilitate instructor-led onboarding and orientation sessions in both classroom and virtual environments for new hires.
• Conduct technical training, application walkthroughs, and system access setup for technicians and fleet support personnel.
• Manage onboarding schedules and monitor training completion through the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Partner with hiring managers, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate hardware, badging, and access readiness.
• Create and deliver engaging technical and non-technical training content while supporting multiple onboarding cohorts.

What’s Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in technical training, onboarding, instructional delivery, or a related role.
• Automotive, autonomous vehicle, fleet operations, or technical application training experience preferred.
• Strong experience facilitating instructor-led training (ILT) both in person and through virtual platforms such as Zoom.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening requirements.
