Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Logistics Analyst to join their team. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting various teams to enhance efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $17/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Develop actionable analyses to improve operational productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain and analyze databases, extract information, and develop metrics and scorecards to monitor performance
  • Review reports to identify operational issues across departments, including performance, productivity data, and root causes of errors
  • Create reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documentation to support data-driven decision-making
  • Utilize systems and software to develop and maintain reporting tools that support business strategies

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in supply chain or logistics operations
  • Proficiency in preparing, importing, and manipulating data in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Access), and ability to extract data from SAP to develop reports
  • Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications, and database systems
