Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator to join their team. As a Robotic Weld Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong mechanical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Robotic Weld Operator
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $16.50
Shift:
1st shift: 8 am to 4 pm (Monday to Friday)
3rd shift: 10 pm to 6am (Monday to Thursday)
overtime is scheduled prior to shift time and can be heavy, including Saturdays
What's the Job?
- Set up, maintain, and operate robotic welding equipment according to specifications
- Position, secure, and fabricate parts of manufactured products
- Inspect and measure work pieces to ensure quality standards are met
- Adjust machine controls to regulate welding parameters for optimal results
- Remove excess welds, slag, or spatter and perform quality inspections
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in welding
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to read blueprints and job specifications
- Willingness to undergo drug testing and background checks
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
