Our client, Industrial is seeking a Cable Assembler to join their team. As a Cable Assembler, you will be part of the Production/Assembly team supporting cable harness and small mechanical manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and engineering schematics to produce high-quality, deadline-driven assemblies.

Job Title: Cable Assembler

Location: Westminster, MD

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 /hour

Shift: 8am to 4pm

What's the Job?

  • Assemble cable harnesses and related components by following detailed customer engineering schematics/drawings.
  • Start with foundational tasks such as cutting, stripping, labeling, and prepping wires, then progress to more complex assembly work.
  • Perform connector assembly, splicing, testing, and soldering in accordance with work instructions.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality while working with colored wires, ensuring correct identification and assembly.
  • Build independence over time and, for the right candidate, develop toward senior technician responsibilities and potential small-team leadership.

What's Needed?

  • Must be able to read a ruler and demonstrate good eyesight for precise assembly work.
  • Ability to see and correctly identify colored wires during assembly.
  • Comfort receiving directions and following instructions carefully and consistently.
  • Strong desire to learn and willingness to be trained on company processes.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check, with reliable transportation and strong attendance.
