Our client, a leader in manufacturing and packaging solutions, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Operator

Location: Cockeysville, MD

Pay Range: $16.5

Shift: Day Shift (0600 AM - 1430 PM)

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for labeling, inspecting, and packaging final container products using manual and automated systems.
  • Operate equipment that packages materials by inserting them into containers or filling from spouts or chutes.
  • Perform tasks such as placing labels, operating small production equipment, and assembling or breaking down boxes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all relevant forms and reports.
  • Identify and escalate any issues related to packaging operations to maintain quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to work on manual and routine assignments with attention to deviations from specifications.
  • Effective record-keeping skills, both manual and electronic.
  • Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and ability to follow diagrams and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including static or rotating shifts, as required.
