Hatchery Laborer

Our client, an industry leader in poultry hatchery operations, is seeking a Hatchery Laborer to join their team. As a Hatchery Laborer, you will be part of the hatchery support team, contributing to essential processes that ensure the health and safety of hatchlings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Hatchery Laborer

Location: Belleville, PA

Pay Range: $16.25

Shift:

What's the Job?

• Cleaning cages and incubators to maintain a hygienic environment
• Inspecting and sorting chicks to ensure quality standards
• Processing chicks through the entire hatch process
• Loading hatched chicks into trucks for delivery
• Supporting the hatchery team in daily operations and ensuring safety protocols are followed

What's Needed?

• Ability to work in hot, wet, and loud conditions
• Physical strength to lift 45-50 lbs regularly
• Willingness to work long hours as needed in agriculture settings
• Reliable punctuality, arriving 5-10 minutes before shift start
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
