Buyer II

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing support, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting procurement and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Buyer II

Location: Hercules, CA

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

• Place purchase orders for goods and services needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels to meet production and inventory goals.
• Identify and resolve potential supply issues proactively.
• Utilize SAP system to actively manage workflow and process purchase transactions accurately.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or production planning fields.
• Experience expediting and issuing purchase orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and application of purchasing/materials principles and theories.
