CAD Drafter

Our client, a leader in wear-resistant liners, coatings, and material handling solutions, is seeking a CAD Drafter to join their team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be part of the Engineering and Design team supporting fabrication and production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: CAD Drafter
Location: Carnegie, PA
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Create detailed fabrication drawings from existing drawings, field sketches, and project specifications.
• Detail all components and parts required for fabrication and production.
• Utilize AutoCAD software to develop accurate technical drawings and layouts.
• Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Review and revise drawings as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Experience using AutoCAD is required.
• Ability to convert field sketches and existing drawings into fabrication-ready drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Inventor is a plus.
