Our client, a dedicated community service organization, is seeking a Intake Specialist to join their team. As an Intake Specialist, you will be part of the Community Services Department supporting programs that make a meaningful difference in people's lives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Intake Specialist

Location: Clifford, IN

Pay Range: $16.63

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Determine eligibility for agency programs through client intake and application processing
  • Assist clients with completing applications and obtaining necessary documentation
  • Educate clients on program requirements, procedures, and available services
  • Provide referrals and connect clients with community resources and emergency services
  • Maintain accurate and complete client records and prepare reports as required

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform client intake, eligibility determination, and documentation accurately
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to community programs
  • Proficiency with technology and data entry systems
