NPI Material Handler

Our client in San Jose, CA  is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. This is a critical position supporting new product introduction (NPI) programs and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting contract manufacturing environments and managing complex material and kitting requirements.

Pay Rate: $26-$27/hr.
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: San Jose, CA

What will you be doing?
•    Receive incoming NPI materials and distribute them into project-specific inventory locations
•    Retrieve shipments from the warehouse and audit components against customer BOMs and AVLs
•    Build and process kits for manufacturing while ensuring accuracy and completeness
•    Work closely with the NPI Program Manager to determine assembly locations and material flow
•    Handle a wide variety of components and materials, including very small parts requiring strong attention to detail
•    Maintain inventory organization and process materials according to established procedures
•    Deliver materials to production as needed

What do you bring?
•    Positive, can-do attitude
•    Contract manufacturing experience required
•    Forklift experience (certification not required)
•    Experience working with a wide variety of small/micro components and materials
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•    Ability to adapt in a changing environment where priorities may shift frequently
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
