Picking and Packing

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a Picking and Packing professional to join their dedicated team. As a Picking and Packing associate, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the fulfillment process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Picking and Packing

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Pay Rate: $16 

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 6AM-2:30PM

What's the Job?

• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated locations.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials, equipment, and products within the assigned area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipment by placing orders on pallets or shelves or moving them to packing stations or shipping departments.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers to access materials.
• Operate manual hand tools, including handheld scanners, to facilitate accurate order processing.

What's Needed?

• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to move and handle materials and items.
• Basic familiarity with manual tools and scanners is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment.
