Shipper/Receiver

Our client, an industrial and logistics-focused organization is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be part of the shipping/receiving/packaging department supporting day-to-day material movement, accurate documentation, and safe, on-time distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Worcester, MA

Pay Range: $24

Shift: Days (05:00-13:30)

What's the Job?

• Receive, verify, and record incoming materials and outgoing shipments using electronic receiving and shipping systems.
• Package, repackage, and prepare products for domestic and international distribution, including custom packing and special documentation as required.
• Maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments, including inventory control for raw materials, purchased materials, finished goods, and manufacturing supplies.
• Support loading and storage operations, ensuring materials are properly stored, retrieved, and tracked to meet production and shipping needs.
• Perform standard and specialized shipping tasks, including handling regulatory requirements and using required export documentation and certifications (as applicable).

What's Needed?

• Ability to check incoming goods against packing slips for accuracy and follow up on receipt issues with the appropriate departments.
• Experience or comfort with material handling and warehouse operations, including loading, storage, inventory control, and shipping preparation.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving paperwork and record keeping, including electronic systems and shipment documentation creation.
• Ability to operate warehouse and material-moving equipment such as forklifts and related vehicles, and to work around loading docks and storage areas.
• Willingness to follow procedures for packaging, labeling, palletizing/wrapping, and safe handling of materials in compliance with applicable requirements.
