Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be an essential part of the Industrial department supporting the shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Associate

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift: 8 am to 4 pm
overtime is scheduled prior to shift time and can be heavy including Saturdays

What's the Job?

  • Manage the shipping, receiving, and accounting of all materials to and from the client site
  • Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments accurately
  • Prepare items for shipment by packaging and labeling securely
  • Use forklift equipment to handle materials safely and efficiently
  • Enter inventory data into the MRP system promptly and accurately

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
  • Forklift experience REQUIRED
  • At least 1 year of experience in an industrial shipping role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
