Shipping Clerk Night Shift

Our client, [Industry Descriptor] is seeking a Shipping Clerk Night Shift to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk Night Shift, you will be part of the Shipping/Receiving department supporting the shipping operations team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals—helping ensure quality parts are prepared and shipped on time.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk Night Shift

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range:$19 plus 8% differential

Shift: Night Shift

What's the Job?

• Clean, pack, and prepare quality parts for shipment according to the daily shipping schedule
• Follow work instructions (W/O) to “part mark” parts accurately
• Follow W/O to clean parts properly before packaging
• Follow W/O to package parts correctly to support safe handling and delivery
• Communicate clearly with the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor about schedule status and any issues that could impact late deliveries or product quality

What's Needed?

• Basic English reading and writing skills to understand work instructions and communicate updates
• Strong attention to detail to ensure parts are marked, cleaned, and packaged correctly
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as a team player
• General education
• Willingness to follow daily shipping schedules and established work instructions consistently
