Human Resources Receptionist
Manpower is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Human Resources Receptionist for a busy healthcare environment.
This position serves as the front-line contact for the Human Resources Department, assisting employees, applicants, visitors, and callers while providing clerical and administrative support to the HR team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist employees, applicants, visitors, and callers to the Human Resources department
- Answer phones, respond to routine questions, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist applicants with the application and hiring process, including scheduling interviews and completing required paperwork
- Review new-hire paperwork for accuracy and completion and assist with onboarding documentation
- Perform data entry and maintain employee and applicant information in the HRIS system
- Maintain confidential personnel files through scanning, filing, and recordkeeping
- Assist with employment verifications, reference checks, offer letters, benefits questions, and employee information changes
- Prepare correspondence, reports, mail, meeting materials, and other HR documentation
- Assist with employee badges, access cards, meeting schedules, and general office needs
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team while maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
- Associate degree and/or four years of relevant Human Resources experience
- Five years of customer service and clerical experience required
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office environment preferred
- Previous Human Resources experience is highly desirable
- Strong computer, typing, and data-entry skills
- HRIS or similar database experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and frequent interruptions
- Professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor when working with employees, applicants, visitors, and the public
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
