Our client, an electrical products and distribution organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting daily order fulfillment and shipment accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment—so customer orders move out correctly and on time.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay Range: 18.00

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions.
  • Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles as part of the shipping workflow.
  • Assemble customer orders for shipment via UPS/LTL and ensure shipping instructions are followed.
  • Process shipment paperwork by verifying merchandise, applying correct postage tape, completing BOL information for LTL shipments, and insuring shipments when necessary.
  • Use a scanner for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to pick orders and support general put-away after receipt.

  • General knowledge of electrical products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers to support customer requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to complete tasks accurately.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as needed.
