Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate II, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations Department supporting the Shipping, Receiving, and Transportation Coordination teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Omaha, Ne

Pay Range: 19/hour

Shift Details:

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and processing incoming freight
• Read and process customer orders, shipping orders, work orders, and requisitions
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and freight accuracy
• Take check calls from drivers and validate load data for delivery and accounting purposes
• Maintain a safe, organized, and accessible warehouse environment

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Experience using handheld scanners
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
