We are seeking an experienced  Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in aerospace and fasteners to join our team on a contract basis. This is a high-priority role supporting an upcoming leave of absence, requiring someone who can ramp up quickly and perform in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of sales, account management, inventory control, and supply chain expertise, along with strong Excel/data analysis skills.

Location: Chatsworth 
Pay Rate: $27 - $28/hr. 
Duration:  6 - 9 months 

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing product information, support, and solutions
  • Manage customer order fulfillment, including:
    • Quotations
    • Order review & entry
    • Expediting
    • Customer service support
  • Develop negotiation strategies and support new business opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction
  • Provide backup support across the sales team when needed
  • Analyze data using Excel (XLOOKUPs, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to inform decisions and improve processes
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain compliance with all company safety and work policies

Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of sales experience with aerospace industry exposure (required)
  • Strong background in:
    • Inventory management
    • Account management (purchasing, sales, and customer service combined)
    • Supply chain operations
  • Experience in fasteners or aerospace components highly preferred
  • Proven success in a sales environment where new prospecting accounts for 50%+ of pipeline
  • Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analysis capability
  • Strong consultative sales approach and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage change effectively
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Education
  • Associate’s Degree in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Operations / Logistics
    • Business, Engineering, Math, Economics, or related field
