Customer Service Rep

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Cleveland, is seeking a Customer Service Rep to join their team. As a Customer Service Rep, you will be part of the Customer Care Department supporting sales and service operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Rep

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay Range:  $19 - $20/hour

Shift: 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

• Manage customer accounts including order processing, shipment scheduling, and maintaining order accuracy.
• Communicate order status, stock updates, and product information to customers via phone, email, and fax.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external sales representatives to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate shipment issues such as shortages, damages, or miss-ships, and communicate resolutions to customers.
• Assist with return authorizations, credit requests, and updating customer records in the system.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or leadership courses are a plus.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience in manufacturing
• Basic proficiency with office equipment including multi-line phones, fax, and copy machines.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
