Our client, Professional Services is seeking a Floor Ambassador to join their team. As a Floor Ambassador you will be part of the Operations team supporting the client’s floor experience and conference room readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service instincts, a proactive ownership mindset, and the ability to manage high-volume, detail-driven tasks with professionalism.

Job Title: Floor Ambassador

Location: New York, NY

Pay Range: 24/hr 

Shift: M-F 8am - 5pm 

What's the Job?

  • Own the floor experience by maintaining an extensive floor presence, ensuring office systems and services are working well, and reporting issues to the appropriate operations teams (facilities, maintenance, security, IT, etc.) while following up to closure.
  • Deliver high-level hospitality and customer service by greeting customers and visitors professionally, providing office services information (printing, office map, and general guidance), and anticipating needs to elevate the end-user experience.
  • Manage service requests using a closed-loop approach, including imaging, mailing, printing, and other office center tasks—ensuring requests are completed accurately and logged in accountability software.
  • Operate Canon devices and office center tools to complete service requests, including advanced print features for common applications (Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word), document binding/finishing, and shipping label workflows.
  • Support mail/packages/pouches and supply operations by receiving, sorting, delivering, logging items accurately, organizing supplies, monitoring inventory (paper/toner and specialty items), and assisting with conference room set-up and moves as needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–1+ years of experience working in a mailroom and/or professional office environment.
  • Prior hospitality experience, such as managing office inventory, conference room set up, and event assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service with a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, etc.) and the ability to perform complex functions across office equipment and systems (fax, scanner, metering, stamping, tracking systems); print/copy/binding experience is a plus.
