Housing Assistance Specialist

Our client, is seeking a Housing Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Housing Specialist

Location: Fairmont, WV

Pay Range: $18.10 hr.

Shift: Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

• Manage assigned participant caseloads from application through program completion.
• Conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
• Determine applicant and participant eligibility for housing assistance programs.
• Calculate rent, income, and family contributions accurately.
• Process lease approvals and maintain detailed program documentation.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
• Valid West Virginia driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
