Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Inventory Control Associate to join their team. As a Inventory Control Associate, you will be part of the Inventory Management Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Control Associate
Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay Range: $20.00/hourly
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Conduct daily counts and reconciliations in accordance with established inventory control, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
- Assist in root-cause analysis and problem solving related to inventory discrepancies.
- Participate in company culture activities to promote continuous improvement and team engagement.
- Monitor count completeness reports; identify materials to be counted; help ensure 100% count accuracy.
- Input and maintain count records and reports via SAP, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or G.E.D.; some college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in inventory control, materials, production, or cost accounting environment.
- Experience with cycle counts and record reconciliation is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing, and inventory control functions.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with strong math and numeric aptitude.
