Order Picker/Packer

Our client, an industrial leader in warehousing and logistics, is seeking a Order Picker/Packer to join their team. As a Order Picker/Packer, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Order Picker/Packer

Location: Fontanet, IN

Pay Range: $14

Shift: 7am - 3pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Prepares shipments by assembling, labeling, and packaging products according to customer specifications.
• Uses warehouse equipment such as carts, pallet jacks to move products between locations.
• Assists with maintaining accurate inventory counts and conducts visual audits of inventory levels.
• Reads picking tickets to identify parts required and prioritizes order processing based on ship dates.
• Performs visual quality inspections, labels products, and packages items for shipment following departmental guidelines.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• Basic computer skills and ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, grasp, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
