Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join their team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting the Human Resources and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: South Bend, IN
Pay Range:$20-$24/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm onsite
What's the Job?
- Administer all functions of the time and attendance payroll system for a union workforce, ensuring accurate payroll processing through reconciliation of employee hours, incentive pay, and production data.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors and operators to verify employee hours, production data, and incentive pay for payroll accuracy.
- Reconcile daily payroll and production summaries, ensuring alignment between timekeeping and manufacturing systems.
- Enter and maintain production data in the time and attendance and manufacturing systems.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, timecards, and adjustments, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
What's Needed?
- 1+ years of experience with ADP eTime or similar payroll/timekeeping systems.
- Experience working in a union environment preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with experience in spreadsheet-based data management and reconciliation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with employees, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
