About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a dynamic organization in Chantilly, VA. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional with strong time and attendance experience and knowledge of ADP and/or Workday systems.

The selected candidate will work onsite at the Chantilly location for the first two weeks of training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Manage time and attendance records, audits, and reporting.
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll-related employee inquiries.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour regulations.
• Partner with HR and management on payroll, deductions, and employee data updates.
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliation, and system-related activities.
• Utilize ADP and/or Workday systems to support payroll processing and administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with time and attendance administration.
• ADP experience required; Workday experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
