Our client, an energy and industrial services organization, is seeking a Planner/Scheduler I to join their team. As a Planner/Scheduler I, you will be part of the ORCMLC_00484|Midland Century Plaza|Texas team supporting maintenance and construction planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset, the ability to lead discussions in group settings, and a detail-oriented, analytical approach that helps drive accurate work planning across stakeholders.

What's the Job?

  • Plan and schedule maintenance and construction activities to support safe, efficient execution.
  • Review and validate work notifications for accuracy and completeness before work is scheduled.
  • Create and manage work orders (WOs) and purchase orders (POs) to keep planning aligned with field needs.
  • Ensure data integrity in the system by correcting discrepancies and maintaining clean, reliable planning information.
  • Track work progress and provide clear status updates to stakeholders through daily and weekly coordination.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance, or construction environments is preferred.
  • Oil and gas industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • SAP experience is preferred but not required, as internal SAP processes will be provided through training.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are highly preferred.
  • Comfort speaking and leading discussions in group settings, including MS Teams calls with 5–6 or more participants.
