Shipping and Receiving Associate

Our client, an international electronics manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will be part of the Warehouse & Operations team supporting day-to-day facility activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work independently while supporting a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Pay Range: up to $25/hr. 

Shift: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM

What's the Job?

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and readiness for storage
• Package and prepare outgoing shipments using UPS and FedEx while maintaining complete shipping records
• Support inventory and quality control by performing counts, verifying stock, and conducting incoming material inspections
• Maintain organized storage locations and inventory areas, including repackaging electronic components as required
• Assist the General Manager with daily operational needs, process improvements, and special projects to help build the facility

What's Needed?

• Previous shipping & receiving experience with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay self-motivated
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software systems
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Valid passport or enhanced driver’s license, or ability to obtain one (for training and periodic travel)
