Shipping Receiving Clerk

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a Shipping Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping and receiving department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Receiving Clerk

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Nights (6pm-5am)

What's the Job?

• Unload incoming shipments from trucks
• Inspect received material for quality and accuracy
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks efficiently
• Order picking and preparation to ensure timely dispatch
• Verify shipment and packages according to purchase order details

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining the shipping and receiving area
• Attention to detail for accurate inventory counts and shipment verification
• Basic physical fitness to handle warehouse tasks
• Willingness to perform additional duties as requested
