Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a Warehouse Admin Assistant to join their team. As a Warehouse Admin Assistant, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Admin Assistant

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm + occ. OT

What's the Job?

  • Enter incoming and outgoing shipments into inventory management systems
  • Process and verify bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers, delivery drivers, and internal warehouse or customer service teams.
  • Book delivery appointments, track shipments, and resolve delivery or stock discrepancies.
  • Generate daily operation reports, track KPIs, and assist with inventory counts or audits.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems software.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and external vendors.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and organization in a busy warehouse setting.
