Our client, transportation and logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate , you will be part of the operations team supporting day-to-day warehouse and freight movement. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and the drive to keep shipments moving on time—while working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Miami, FL 33182

Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Available Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (4 days on / 3 days off)
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM (4 days on / 3 days off)

What's the Job?

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
  • Complete work safely by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Take check calls from drivers, validate load data prior to marking loads delivered, and monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to confirm loads arrive on time and in good condition

What's Needed?

  • Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) to understand critical safety alerts, read warning labels, and follow real-time operational instructions
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, based on changing freight volumes
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and to load and unload trucks
